About Mehdi Fattahi Heravi - Togo Teb Entrepreneur
I, Mehdi Fattahi Heravi, was born in the village of Heravi in Tabriz city. Since childhood, I loved the city and I was very happy when I saw acquaintances and handsome young people from the city coming to the village of Heravi. Because I was young, I could not go to Tabriz on my own, so I would pretend to be sick and tell my mother (my dear grandmother) that I had a severe headache and stomach ache, so that she would take me to Tabriz and my aunt's place to stay for a few days. At that time, there were very few cars, so I would stay there for 3 to 5 days and I really liked staying in Tabriz and enjoying seeing the craftsmen.
From the very beginning of my childhood, when I was 9 years old, I loved working more than studying and I did whatever was necessary to stay in Tabriz. My cousin was a shoemaker and worked in the workshop. One day I told him to take me with him to work. For me, the question was how shoes are made? Finally, with my great insistence, I went to the first shoemaker's workshop with my aunt's permission and that same day, I started gluing shoes.
In the shoemaking workshop, I did everything that was necessary, very carefully and well, and they were satisfied with the quality of my work and my interest in shoemaking. I worked for a few days and upon my request, my cousin said, "I will ask your father for permission to work here." Unfortunately, at that time, after 3 months of working, my nose became sensitive to shoe glue and caused bleeding, and the doctor, after examining me, said that I should not work in this industry and that I should leave it.
After leaving the shoemaking workshop with great sadness, my father placed me with a goldsmith and I entered this profession as an apprentice. But after 2 years, I left it because I was not interested in this industry. I entered this industry again at the age of 12 because of my great talent and interest in the leather and shoe industry. I was ambitious since childhood and wanted to work in an industry that could provide beauty, youth, and health to people. For this reason, I loved distinctive work and new models and endured all its hardships with all my heart.
My strong interest in the leather and shoe industry led me to complete a 10-year journey in 3 years and at the age of 15 I became a master worker and foreman. Because of my interest in this industry and shoe production, I used my earnings to buy shoemaking equipment, tools, and tools to create a business for myself in the future. Since my adolescence, I loved entrepreneurship and wanted to be a brand in the leather and shoe industry. I am very grateful to God for giving me everything I had in mind during my childhood and adolescence.
I started working in Mr. Farzin's production group when I was young, and considering the quality of my work, he was very supportive and gave me new and complex models because of the trust he had in the quality of my work. He is an honorable person and after 2 years of working, he agreed and supported my request to start my own business. At that time, I was 25 years old and I produced shoes for other brands as a contractor for a year. Since early 2001, I have developed my business with the Togo Teb brand and, with the orders of my dear customers, I have designed and launched new products that are fashionable and beautiful.

At the Istanbul Bag and Shoe Fair in Turkey, I chose a complex and beautiful shoe model to produce and market in Iran. Members of the Tabriz Bag and Shoe Cluster advised me that it was a difficult and high-risk job, and the possibility of its production failing was very high. Finally, I chose the model available at the Istanbul Fair for production and brought it to my workshop in Tabriz. Together with Mr. Arash Nami and his respected wife, we modeled and designed the shoe. After 2 months of unremitting efforts, we were able to finalize the shoe sizes and uppers. Then, in an exciting day of work, I was able to produce the shoe by 12 o'clock at night. That night, out of joy and feeling, I brought the shoe home without putting it in the warm house and told my wife that after a few days I was able to finalize and produce the shoe I had brought from Turkey. I placed the shoe on the table next to the TV, so that when I wanted to watch TV, I could look at the shoe at the same time. At that moment, my wife suddenly asked, "Mehdi, do you love me like that shoe?" My wife said, "If you love me like that shoe, I'll feel better."
We are currently thinking about developing our business and factory in Chalish Industrial Town with the brands Togoteb and Iran-15, and by using experienced consultants in the fields of management, design and modeling, our dear managers and employees, we are trying to attract the satisfaction of our customers and consumers, and we are looking for the loyalty and stability of our respected customers. We are trying to be the first choice of our dear consumers and become an international Iranian brand.
